Natalie Sageloly

I love and cherish both water and fitness. Surfing for me was a natural addiction and being raised in Canada’s frigid temperatures, I never really got to fulfill my passion for the sport. I fell in love with both surfing and Nosara four years ago when I embarked on a solo surf trip. The country and surf culture immediately felt like home to me. I left Nosara after my first trip with tears in my eyes and a hard pull at my heart to stay there. I decided then and there that this was the life for me; Pura Vida. I also decided that I needed to increase my overall strength, agility and flexibility. Being an athlete all my life, I thought that I was in “surf shape” but was always humbled every time I got on my board. I fell upon The Extension Method™ right after my first trip to Nosara and was immediately connected to the fitness and fun of the program even though I had zero dance experience. They are both completely complimentary to each other and changed the way I looked and performed for my next trip and avoided injury. This is why I am bringing a new and unique program Pointe Break Retreats to those who want to challenge themselves physically and restore themselves along the way. I now live in Nosara, Costa Rica and I love every minute of it. I want to share this passion I have for surfing, Extension Method™ ballet fitness and Costa Rica! I truly believe in taking on new challenges and living outside of your comfort zone. It is in this space that we all can truly thrive and create ourselves.
